It gets a rather unique design and compelling performance figures

Sunra EV, a popular EV manufacturer from China, has launched the Miku Super electric mini motorcycle in European markets. The Miku Super is a one-of-a-kind mini e-bike that packs some impressive figures and acts as an alternative to 125cc internal combustion engine commuters.

In terms of appearance, the Sunra Miku Super stands out with its unconventional body design and futuristic styling elements. It flaunts a floating rear seat without any support holding it at the back, which looks really cool and edgy. Apart from that, the body design resembles the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, with neo-retro styling coupled with some futuristic elements. It gets a similar ‘fuel tank’ design as the Svartpilen and a circular LED headlight. The design of the bike is properly unique with the battery placed where the engine would be on an internal combustion bike.

Propelling the Miku Super is a dual brushless DC hub motor churning out 3kW and 235Nm of peak torque which offers a claimed top speed of 80kmph. The motor is paired to dual removable 72V/20AH Li-ion battery packs that take about four hours to fully charge. It is claimed to offer a range of 135km on a single charge, which is quite respectable for an urban runabout.

The e-bike is suspended on a USD fork up front and gets a cantilever style rear swingarm with dual shock absorbers. The bike is anchored by discs on both ends and rolls on 12-inch wheels.

One of the most unique features of the Miku Super is the fingerprint unlock function, which can be used without a key to start the e-bike. Apart from that, the e-bike also gets a digital instrument cluster, albeit without smartphone or Bluetooth connectivity, and gets all-LED lighting.

With a price tag of 4,390 Euros in France (equivalent to Rs 3.56 lakh, excluding taxes) the Sunra Miku Super e-bike is rather expensive for what it packs and how it performs. Moreover, the bike will not be heading to our shores anytime soon, but you can check out electric motorcycles available in India like the Revolt RV400, Tork Kratos and the upcoming Oben Rorr.
