The new feature additions for the regular top-spec trims of the Nexon EV Max have made it more expensive by Rs 30,000 than before. But the good thing is if you want the top-spec trim without the recently launched Dark Edition, then it’s more affordable by Rs 25,000.
In terms of styling and looks on the outside, absolutely nothing has changed. This update is purely limited to the features list of the top-spec XZ+ LUX trim, which now packs a 10.25-inch touchscreen system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice commands and a rear view camera along with the existing list of features which comprises a single-pane sunroof, an auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated seats, and a wireless phone charger.
Its safety kit was expansive to begin with and continues with equipment like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control and rear parking sensors.

There aren’t any revisions to its powertrain as well and you can know all about its specifications and characteristics in our first drive review here. But mind you, Tata has updated the range of the Nexon EV Max since we first drove it, details of which can be found here.

Tata retails the Nexon EV Max alongside a smaller-battery-packing Prime variant. While the latter is sold between Rs 14.49 lakh and 17.19 lakh, the Nexon EV Max is priced from Rs 16.49 lakh to Rs 19.54 lakh (ex-showroom). The Nexon EV doesn’t have much in the way, as the Mahindra XUV400 is the only immediate rival. The MG ZS EV can be considered as a premium alternative.
