The Tata Punch EV has found over 10,000 homes since its introduction in January 2024. The micro SUV has been one of the most popular electric vehicles in its segment. It’s also the first Tata car to be based on the carmaker’s dedicated Acti.ev electric vehicle platform and recently, has yet another milestone in its kitty.
The Tata Punch EV has secured a full five star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP crash safety test. The micro electric SUV has secured 31.46 / 32 in Adult Protection and 45 / 49 in Child Protection, making it the safest car tested by BNCAP till date. Top features in the Tata Punch EV include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats and a single-pane sunroof.
Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera and electronic parking brake with auto hold.
The Tata Punch EV gets two powertrain options: Standard Range with a 25 kWh battery and Long Range with a 35 kWh battery. Both of these get different powertrain options and claimed range. Here’s a detailed look at the specifications of the Tata Punch EV:

The Tata Punch EV is priced from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It locks horns with the Citroen eC3, while being an alternative to the Tata Tiago EV and Tigor EV.
