The Punch EV’s design takes a leaf or two from the Nexon EV and stands apart from its petrol-powered sibling. Up front, you get a Nexon-inspired fascia featuring a closed-off grille, full-width LED DRL and LED headlights. Look closely and you’ll notice the charging port, which has a motorised door a la the MG ZS EV, is at the front.
In contrast, the side profile gets new alloys, while updates at the rear are limited to a tweaked bumper and, obviously, the ‘EV’ badging.
While the Punch EV’s basic dashboard design is similar to the ICE model’s, there are a handful of new elements here. For starters, you get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, touch-based climate control panel and a new dual-tone colour scheme.

Safety features onboard include six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, 360-degree camera and rear parking sensors.
