Bookings for the all-electric Punch are now open.
Tata Motors has finally taken the wraps off the all-electric Punch EV. This marks the fourth electric offering from the Indian marque, after the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, and Nexon EV. The all-electric micro-SUV, which gets distinctive styling elements than its ICE sibling, is offered with two powertrain options and five broad trims: Smart, Smart +, Adventure, Empowered and Empowered +. Bookings for the micro-SUV are open from today onwards and prices are expected to be out in the coming weeks.
The Punch EV features a refreshed design, drawing cues from the recently launched 2023 Nexon facelift. It has a closed-off grille with full-width LED DRLs, while the LED headlights sit in a triangular housings. The charging port for the EV is mounted on the nose, a la the MG ZS EV. A revised bumper rounds off the overall design updates at the front.
On the side, except for the new alloy wheel design and disc brakes on all four wheels, it looks largely similar to the ICE-powered Punch . Moving to the rear, the updated skid plate complete this overall refreshed design.
Colour options for the Punch EV include Empowered Oxide White, Seaweed Green, Fearless Red, Daytona Grey, and Pristine White. All these colours come with a black roof finish. Oxide White is limited to top-spec Empowered variant, while base-spec Smart is offered only with the Pristine White shade.
