Today, Tata Motors inaugurated its first EV-only showroom in Gurugram. Earlier, Tata Motors said that it plans to open such showrooms in light of its expanding electric vehicle lineup and the first one has made its maiden debut. The carmaker plans to open more such showrooms down the road across the country.
One of the main reasons for Tata Motors opening EV-specific dealerships is because of the carmaker’s push towards bringing new EVs. By 2025 end, the Indian marque plans to have 10 all-electric cars and fitting them under one roof will be a squeeze. A separate EV-only showroom, then, makes sense for the Indian carmaker, considering it rules the market in this space.
The new EV showroom has walls adorned in Tata.ev’s signature Evo Teal hue, highlighting Tata’s commitment for a sustainable future. It also hosts the carmaker’s new brand identity, Tata.ev. And obviously, this being an electric vehicle showroom, it has fast chargers which can be used by existing EV owners to juice up their car.

And that’s not all. Customers will have a vehicle configurator allowing them to customise their vehicle, all while enjoying a cup of coffee. And lastly, since EVs are all about being eco-friendly, Tata says the new showrooms are made out of sustainable materials.
The next all-electric Tata car that we could soon see is the all-electric Punch EV. Apart from that, 2024 will also witness the introduction of the Curvv EV, and probably the Harrier EV as well. Along with their EVs, Tata also plans to launch a couple of ICE-powered cars, details of which can be found here.
