Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Stella Moto has launched the Buzz electric scooter at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). In terms of pure looks, the Buzz seems like a bigger TVS Scooty Pep Plus.
It comes with a 2kW BLDC motor and a 2.16kWh Lithium-ion battery. The company claims the EV has a range of 90km along with a 55kmph top speed. Interestingly, the battery contains four temperature sensors, which monitor the temperature at various positions of the battery pack and cut off the power when higher temperatures are sensed.

There’s a disc brake up front and the wheels are shod with tubeless tyres. In terms of features, it gets a digital console, cruise control, USB charging and an anti-theft system. In terms of convenience, the Moto has an impressive 180mm of ground clearance and 150kg load-bearing capacity.
The Buzz is available in four colours — Grey, Matt Blue, Red and Brown — and will come with a three-year warranty. While the Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom) price tag might sound inviting, the Ola S1 Air retails for Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom Delhi), while offering a higher range, top speed and an endless list of features. The Buzz, hence, goes up against the Ola S1 Air, Hero Electric Optima CX (dual battery), BGauss B8 and the Pure EV Epluto 7G.
