However, selecting the right one with the right features can be quite difficult, considering the plethora of options in the market. So, to help you with your buying decision, we've listed five options that trump others in their segment in terms of features and practicality.
BattRE Electric Mobility Montra: Rs 40,700

It's an entry-level MTB that comes with some pretty nifty features for the price. In true MTB sense, the bike offers front suspension, dual-purpose tyres and disc brakes at both ends. A 21-speed Shimano drivetrain helps with pedal power. To make things easier, you have a 13Ah detachable Lithium-ion battery and a 250W motor that should give a decent amount of pedal assist range.
Toutche Electric Heileo M200: Rs 57,900
If you want to step things up a notch, the Heileo M200 could make more sense. It's a performance mountain bike with all the bells and whistles you could ask for, like an aluminium alloy frame, a front shock with 100mm of travel, dual-purpose tyres from Kenda, an eight-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain and dual disk brakes. Apart from this, you have a detachable Li-ion battery which offers 60-80km of range on pedal assist. You can even select from one of eight torque intervention levels via the TFT display. A full charge takes about three and a half hours. What might really stand out is the way it looks. Its sharp design and bold colour scheme should appeal to most.
