The Windsor EV comes loaded with plentiful feature additions, but still misses out on a handful of bits the Curvv EV comes with

Tata Motors and MG Motor India have recently launched electric vehicles – the Curvv EV and Windsor EV. Both have a lot of equipment and unique characteristics that set them apart from the competition. However, the Tata Curvv EV is equipped with a few more things that the Windsor EV lacks. Here's the list:

Larger 10.25-Inch Instrument Cluster:

The Tata Curvv EV gets a larger 10.25-inch driver’s display whereas the Windsor EV gets a smaller 8.8-inch LCD cluster. In addition to the Curvv offering a larger display, the Tata’s unit is also capable of showing the navigation on the screen and the blind spot monitor.

MG Windsor EV

Powered Tailgate:

The Tata Curvv EV gets a powered tailgate with gesture control which makes it easier to open the tailgate if both hands are full with stuff. On the other hand, the Windsor EV doesn't get it and you will have to open it manually.

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)

The Tata Curvv EV comes with a Level-2 ADAS system which includes features like Adaptive Cruise Control,  Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), and a whole lot more. The MG Windsor misses out on ADAS.

Panoramic Sunroof:

Now, in this department, both cars come with a panoramic sunroof which lets in a lot of light inside the cabin. However, in the Curvv EV, the glass is openable, making the cabin all the more airier while using it. In the Windsor EV, the glass is fixed and you can’t open it.

Cooled Glovebox:

The Windsor EV misses out on a cooled glovebox but the Tata Curvv features it to keep your beverages refreshed and cold on the go.

Additional Powertrain Options:

In the Windsor EV, you get only one powertrain option - a single e-motor churning out 136PS and 200Nm of peak torque, while the Curvv EV gets two options – a 45KW and a 55KW battery pack. The 45KW battery is teamed with an e-motor that produces 150PS and 215Nm whereas the 55KW battery gets a more powerful e-motor producing 167PS and 215Nm of torque. So it’s 2 vs 1 here, basically.

MG Windsor EV

Frunk:

If you want more storage space, the Curvv EV offers a 11.6 litres frunk whereas the Windsor EV misses out on it, but the boot space in the Windsor EV is 604 litres which is more than the 500 litres boot space of the Curvv EV.

Tata Curvv EV

Vehicle to load(V2L):

The Curvv EV gets a technology called Vehicle to Load (V2L). This technology helps the owner to charge small electronic gadgets, transforming your Curvv EV into a mobile power hub. The Windsor EV doesn’t get this technology.
