The frenzy of electric scooters and bikes seen at the Auto Expo 2023 gave a feeling that the theme of the motor show was based on the film 36 China Town. Well, amidst all the products that felt derivative from the land of the Red Dragon, one Desi brand stood tall and it was Tork Motors.
The Pune-based electric motorcycle maker unveiled the Tork Kratos X, which is essentially a more souped up version of the Tork Kratos R. Souped up you ask? Well, here’s why we say so. So, if you’re interested in this sportier variant of the Kratos, here’s all the important dates you should keep a track of.
With the bike already having been unveiled, Tork will begin offering test rides of the Kratos X from March onwards. The brand has also mentioned that deliveries of this electric bike will commence from June. Thus, expect the e-motorcycle to be launched sometime in May.
The Tork Kratos X gets a more powerful motor, aluminium swingarm, along with a few revised aesthetics, like winglets and repositioned indicators. It also is equipped with a seven-inch TFT touchscreen and keyless access.
Thus for all these premium bits, expect the Kratos X to be priced at a premium of Rs 20,000 over the Kratos R, which currently retails at Rs 1,68,374 (ex-showroom Pune, including FAME II subsidy).
