Ultraviolette is planning on launching a new bike in 2025
It could likely be an ADV based on the Concept X unveiled at EICMA 2024
It could also feature a lot of learnings from the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2
According to a report published online, Ultraviolette India is planning on entering a new segment. We believe the brand could be launching a new bike in 2025, which could likely be an ADV. At EICMA 2024, Ultraviolette unveiled the Concept X, a road-biased ADV concept. We believe the upcoming bike could be an ADV based on this concept.
Judging by what we have already seen at EICMA 2024, Concept X uses a similar sharp and aggressive design language as the Ultraviollette F77 Mach 2. There are a few things that make it stand out. It gets a beak-like fender, a tall windscreen, a wider handlebar and more relaxed ergonomics compared to the F77 Mach 2.
The upcoming bike could be a road-biased ADV like the Concept X. It could offer the same level of performance as the F77. The F77 for perspective has a 10.3kWh battery pack. It is powered by a motor that outputs 29.7kW and 100Nm, offering a claimed top speed of 155kmph.
The ADV bike will be an alternative for riders who want a high performance electric bike that has relaxed ergonomics. This will also allow Ultraviolette to reach a wider set of riders who might not necessarily appreciate the sporty nature of the F77.
Ultraviolette currently only offers one bike in the market, which is the F77 Mach 2. This has limited the brand’s reach to riders who are interested in sporty motorcycles. Entering into other segments will help the brand a lot. According to the report, the brand has plans on expanding into other segments in the next 3 years.
We might see more offerings based on the F77 platform such as a cruiser, a roadster and even a fully-faired supersport. Overall, we are quite excited to see what Ultraviolette has planned for the future.
