Tata Motors recently unveiled the all-electric version of its micro SUV, the Punch EV, revealing its exterior, and new features. Although the official prices and launch date of the EV have not been announced, the Punch EV has reached a dealership before its launch. Tata has commenced its bookings, and here’s your first-hand look at the Punch EV ahead of its launch.
The Punch EV draws some of the design cues from the 2023 Nexon EV, such as the full-width LED DRLs and the new alloy wheels. The rear, however, maintains a resemblance to its ICE-powered counterpart, with no major changes. It is available in two broad variants, Standard and Long Range, and you can take a detailed look at the Punch EV over here.
Compared to the standard Punch, new additions to its EV twin include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and a blind view monitor. Features such as the automatic climate control, sunroof, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, and Harman sound system have been retained.
Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and cruise control, along with the aforementioned new safety additions.
