Vayve Mobility, an emerging electric vehicle start-up, has launched the all-electric Eva at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Promoted as India’s first solar-powered vehicle, the Eva offers a solar-recharged range of 3,000 km annually. First showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo, this production-ready model’s bookings are underway and here are its variant-wise prices:
The Eva is a tiny electric car, similar to a quadricycle. It's comparable to the Citroen Ami available internationally, but even smaller than the MG Comet EV, except for its length and wheelbase.

The EV has a quirky exterior design and its body is narrower towards the rear. You get modern elements such as connected lighting elements.
Inside, the Eva accommodates two passengers in a cockpit-like setup sitting behind each other. The cabin is equipped with a two-spoke steering wheel, dual screens – a driver’s display and an infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with air conditioning.
Additional features include a glass roof and a 6-way powered driver’s seat. For safety, the Eva comes with a single driver’s airbag.
The Eva is powered by a 14 kWh battery pack with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, paired with a rear-mounted electric motor. The motor generates 8.15 PS and 40 Nm of torque, offering a top speed of 70 kmph and a 0-40 km/h acceleration time of 5 seconds. The claimed range is 250 km on a single charge.

In terms of charging, the Eva supports both AC and DC charging. It takes 4 hours to charge up to 80% using a 15A socket, while a CCS2 DC charger achieves the same in 45 minutes. The fast-charging feature provides an impressive 50 km of range in just 5 minutes of charging. A standout feature of the Eva is its solar roof, which generates power from solar energy, adding an additional 3,000 km of range annually, or 10 km daily.
The Eva’s bookings are already open. While it currently has no direct rivals, the closest competitor in the market would be the MG Comet EV.
