As seen in the table above, the Tata Punch EV is much more powerful than the Citroen eC3, regardless of the powertrain you pick. That being said, the eC3 is torquier and has a larger battery pack than the Punch EV Standard Range. Opting for the Long Range model gives you much better specs than the Citroen, be it the power or the battery pack size.
Tata is yet to reveal the claimed range details of the Punch EV, so we’ll update this article once we get the information.
The Punch EV is available in five broad trims: Smart, Smart +, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered +. You have the option to choose from two battery pack variants, a Standard Range variant with a smaller battery pack, and the Long Range variant with a larger battery pack. The former is available across all trims, while the latter is offered from the mid-spec Adventure trim onwards.
We expect prices for the Punch EV to start from Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom), while the eC3 is priced between 11.61 lakh and 12.85 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from rivalling the eC3, the Punch EV is an SUV alternative over the Tata Tiago EV and Tigor EV.
