Hyundai introduced its long-awaited Creta Electric at the recently held Auto Expo 2025 with prices starting at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas, Mahindra has already launched its new BE 6 (formally BE 6e). Both electric SUVs offer a raft of features in line with the cutting-edge technology used in modern-day, high-end electric vehicles. Hyundai has given the Creta Electric additional features over the Creta – the car it is based on. Unlike the Creta Electric, the BE 6 uses a new electric-only platform, enabling faster charging and several EV-specific features. Here compare all their features.

Both the Creta Electric and BE 6 are tech-laden and offer advanced features. The BE 6 comes with a larger dual-screen setup, up to 7 airbags, an augmented reality heads-up display, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, auto park, powered tailgate with gesture control, and a pet mode. In comparison, the Creta Electric offers an electric boss mode, a digital key, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, and a foldable rear seat tray. Both electric SUVs are outfitted with Level 2 ADAS, while the BE 6 also gets up to 7 airbags.

The starting and ending prices of the BE 6 are higher than the Creta Electric. While Mahindra’s electric offering is available in three variants: Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three, Hyundai offers the Creta’s electric equivalent in 5 variants, namely Executive, Smart, Smart (O), Premium, and Excellence.
All in all, the Hyundai Creta Electric and Mahindra BE 6 goes neck-to-neck when it comes to features. If the former offers a boss mode, digital key, and powered front seats, the latter is fitted with semi-active suspension, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system, auto park, and a heads-up display with augmented reality. As mentioned earlier, features can be a deal-breaker when buying a car, but it also depends on the design, space and, more importantly driving dynamics, which could be subjective. Plus, the prices would play a key role in the buying decision.
