One of the highlights of the just-launched Mahindra XUV 3XO is its handful of feature additions, which can put models from a segment above to shame. In this report we are going to take a look at 10 feature additions the Mahindra XUV 3XO offers over its immediate rival, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
One of the highlight features in the Mahindra XUV 3XO is its segment-first panoramic sunroof. Larger than the Brezza’s single-pane unit, it lets more light into the cabin. And if you’re eyeing the lower variants of the 3XO, worry not, as they come with a single-pane unit.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO gets a fully digital 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, which displays a plethora of information and even gets multiple view options. In contrast, the Brezza gets a set of analogue dials with a coloured multi-info display.

The Brezza packs in a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that feels snappy and easy to use. But the XUV 3XO goes a step further and offers a larger 10.25-inch unit. Both the systems come packing with connected car tech as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is the only model in its segment to come packing a dual-zone climate control system, allowing the driver and co-driver to set their preferred temperature for their respective zones. On the other hand, the Brezza offers you a single-zone option only.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is the only model in its segment to come packing with Level-2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, lane-keeping assist and lane departure warning. No ADAS features are offered with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
Audiophiles rejoice! The Mahindra XUV 3XO comes packing a 7-speaker Harman Kardon sound system that offers good sound quality. In the Brezza, you’ll have to rely on a 6-speaker sound system for your musical needs.
Another useful piece of kit in the 3XO is the electronic parking brake function, a premium touch. It also comes with an auto hold function, which comes extremely handy in stop and go traffic as you don’t have to keep your foot on the brake pedal while you’re waiting.
This is another useful piece of kit in the 3XO if your daily commute involves tight lanes as it comes with front parking sensors. This kit will also help you maneuver in a tight parking space as well. The Brezza offers you only rear parking sensors. It must be noted that both the cars get a 360-degree parking camera.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO gets a USB Type-C 65W fast charger. Not only is it capable of topping your phone’s battery quicker, it’s also capable of charging your laptop as well.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO gets a tyre pressure monitoring system, which displays the individual tyre pressures on the digital driver’s display and notifies you if there’s a dip or loss in pressure in any of the tyres.
These are the features the Mahindra XUV 3XO offers over the Brezza. To know how these two cars stack up on paper, check out our spec comparo report. And if you want to know our impressions of the Mahindra XUV 3XO, head to our in-depth first drive review.
