The upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO, which is basically the facelifted Mahindra XUV300 with a new name, is all set to debut on April 29, 2024. Recent teasers of the XUV 3XO have revealed it is all set to get new features, giving it a richer cabin experience than the current model. Many of the new features are taken from the updated XUV400 EV, which was launched a couple of months back.
Here’s a list of features that we are expecting the XUV 3XO to get:
Yes, you read that right! The upcoming XUV 3XO will be the first in its segment to get a panoramic sunroof. It earlier used to get a single-pane sunroof which will now be replaced with the panoramic sunroof. The first-in-segment panoramic sunroof will surely attract more customers towards it.
The soon-to-be-revealed XUV 3XO is likely to get a suite of ADAS features, making it a safer vehicle than before. Since its rivals such as the Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet also get ADAS features in the higher-end variants, it is safe to speculate that the 3XO might also get it.
The current XUV3OO gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which will be replaced by the 10.25-inch touchscreen borrowed from the XUV400 EV. The bigger touchscreen system will keep it in line with its rivals who have got bigger touchscreens as well with recent updates.
The XUV 3XO’s new touchscreen system will feature Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto making it easier for you to connect your smartphone to the car’s system. The current model gets wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The upcoming XUV 3XO will be getting a 10.25-inch digital driver display from the XUV400. It will offer multiple view customisation options and you can access most of the features through this display such as navigation and audio.
We expect the XUV 3XO to get rear AC vents, which was not offered earlier. The rear AC vents will surely up the back seat experience as it will provide sufficient airflow at all times for the rear passengers.
Another modern feature which we are expecting the XUV 3XO to get is the wireless phone charger. This convenient feature will make sure your phone battery is topped up at all times and not depend on a cable to charge your phone in the car.
The XUV 3XO is expected to get a 360-degree camera which will make parking and maneuvering your car through traffic a seamless experience. The current version gets a rear parking camera along with front and rear parking sensors to help you park your car.
A safety feature that the XUV 3XO is expected to get is the tyre pressure monitoring system, which will make sure that you are aware about the tire pressure at all times and the optimum tire pressure is maintained. It will also notify the driver if there’s a sudden drop in air pressure or puncture.
The upcoming XUV 3XO is likely to get a Type-c USB charger for the rear seats, placed below the rear AC vents. This is a good addition as it will make sure that the rear passengers will get their own power outlets to top up their devices.
The XUV 3XO with the number of added features will surely be an attractive option, if priced ‘correctly’. The current-gen XUV300 is priced from Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) and one can expect it to command a notable premium considering the number of updates.
The facelifted XUV 3XO will rival the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
