….And it costs thrice as much as its previous iteration
  • Honda has launched the 2021 Navi in the USA.

  • It is exactly the same as the BS3 model that was sold in India.

  • Continues to be powered by the Activa’s 110cc engine.

  • The Honda Navi, deemed the Indian version of the popular Grom, sold over 1 lakh units in the country before being discontinued in 2019. The company has now, however, re-launched the Navi but...in the USA, retailing at $1,807. While this is relatively less by American standards, it translates to a massive Rs 1.34 lakh, almost thrice as much as the price when it got the boot here in 2019.

The 2021 iteration is the same as before, retaining the halogen headlight, flat seat, and mid-mounted storage compartment for your knick-knacks.

It is offered in four colour options: Red, Grasshopper Green, Ranger Green, and Nut Brown.

Like before, the Honda Navi employs a 109cc single-cylinder engine mated to a CVT. Honda USA hasn't revealed the power figures, but we expect them to be around 8PS and 9Nm, the same as the India-spec model.

The underpinnings haven't changed either, comprising an inverted telescopic fork, a monoshock, and drum brakes at both ends. The scooter rolls on blacked-out 12/10-inch sheet metal wheels (F/R).

As you might've guessed, the features haven't been tinkered with as well. You only get bulb lighting, a storage compartment, and an analogue instrument cluster with a fuel gauge.
