Hyundai is cooking up the Venue N Line, which is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. The sub-4 metre SUV is likely to be the second Hyundai model to get the sportier N Line treatment in India. And now, a Delhi RTO document has revealed some dope about the sportier SUV’s variants and powertrain option.
Like the i20, the Venue N Line will be offered in two broad trims: N6 and N8. The sub-4 metre SUV will get just the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine belting out 120PS and 172Nm. However, an interesting point to note is that the document states Hyundai will offer the Venue N Line with the 7-speed DCT and not the 6-speed iMT (clutchless manual), which isn’t the case with the i20 N Line. That said, final specifications could change as we head closer to its launch.
The Venue N Line will get plentiful sportier embellishments inside and out to stand out from the standard car. You can expect sportier front and rear bumpers, racier looking wheels, red brake calipers and an all-black interior theme with plenty of red highlights. That said, there won’t be many changes to the features list from the standard car.

N Line cars also get upgrades underneath the skin for a sportier drive and we expect the same with the Venue N Line. So, like the i20, it could get a stiffer suspension setup, a quicker steering rack, and a throatier exhaust note for a more immersive driving experience.
The Venue N Line will be the flagship variant and it could be priced at a premium of around Rs 50,000 like the i20 N Line. This particular variant doesn’t have any direct rivals, but its cousin, the Kia Sonet, gets a flagship GTX+ trim that looks sportier than the standard variants.
