Yamaha has updated the YZF-R25 with two new paint schemes - Racing Blue and Metallic Black - that are used across the sports bike lineup of the Japanese bikemaker.
The Racing Blue colour is not identical (but pretty similar) to what we have seen on the Yamaha R15 V4. The blue paint scheme, along with blue rims, enhances the sporty look of the bike and gives it a more vibrant appeal.
The Metallic Black colour on R25 looks supremely elegant and stealthy. The paint scheme gives an all-black look to the bike with a dark shade of the colour on the rims.
In terms of mechanical and feature updates, the bike is untouched. It gets the same specs as before – a 250cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine producing 36PS and 22.6Nm, paired to a six-speed transmission. It also gets the same USD suspension setup and dual-channel ABS.
The YZF-R25, with the updated paint schemes, has been launched in Indonesia at a price of IDR 68,675,000 (Rs 3.59 lakh). Though the R25 was never sold in India and will not be heading to our shores anytime soon,
you can check out 250cc bikes available in India like the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, Bajaj Pulsar F250, KTM 250 Duke and Bajaj Dominar 250.
