Hyundai India has partially revealed the 2024 Creta facelift ahead of its official launch on January 16. The Korean carmaker has also opened the pre-launch bookings for the popular compact SUV and you can reserve one either online or through your nearest Hyundai dealership. You can pick it up in seven broad trims: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX (O).
From the teased images, we can discern that the Creta will have a new squarer grille and a full-width LED DRL with inverted L-shaped signature. It also packs revised LED headlights that also have a much more squarer look, adding to the fascia’s boxy design. The connected lighting trend can be seen at the rear as well, which dials up the premium quotient.
You can pick up the upcoming Creta in the following colour options: Robust Emerald Pearl (new), Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Fiery Red, and Titan Grey. You can pick the white with an optional black roof as well, the only dual-tone colour on offer.
Things are significantly different on the inside now as the 2024 Creta facelift gets a brand new dashboard that takes a cue or two from its premium international model. You now get the dual integrated display setup comprising the touchscreen infotainment system and digital driver’s display.
Right below it are the sleek AC vents and controls for the infotainment and climate control. Lastly, splashes of ambient lighting across the cabin dial up the cabin’s ambience, especially at night.

Existing features like ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, and a Bose sound system should be carried forward.
Safety features on the 2024 Creta will likely include six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and front and rear parking sensors.
Turbo-petrol power is back for the 2024 Creta facelift as it gets the carmaker’s new 160PS 1.5-litre unit from the Verna. It is offered with 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission only. The existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and diesel engines should be carried forward as it is.
The 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift is all set to be launched on our shores on January 16, 2024. And you can expect it to command a notable premium over the outgoing model, which was priced from Rs 10.87 lakh (ex-showroom).
