*Japan model specifications
The 2024 Swift’s new engine produces the least power and torque figures among the three, with the Punch being the most powerful, followed by the Grand i10 Nios. In Japan, this engine is available with a 12 V mild-hybrid system, but that could be skipped here. The India-spec model could get different transmission options as well.Â
Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the fourth-gen Swift sometime in 2024, which is likely to command a higher starting price over the current model, that starts from Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). As for the prices of the Grand i10 Nios and the Punch, the former starts from 5.84 lakh (ex-showroom), while the latter starts from Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).
A more detailed comparison of these three cars will be presented to you when the new Swift is launched in India. So, stay tuned.
