The retro-styled roadster gets a whole bunch of updates that help it step into the modern era. Here’s everything that it now gets

Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been updated for 2024. Royal Enfield’s best-selling bike gets a bunch of modern features and colours. Here is a detailed look at its features:

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets an all-LED lighting system: headlight, tail light, and pilot lamps. This will help improve the illumination of the road while riding in the dark compared to the previous iteration. The retro-styled roadster is equipped with a USB-C charging port on the handlebar to help you charge your smartphone while riding. Dual-channel ABS will now be seen across all variants as standard, even on the lower variants.

The instrument cluster stays the same to keep the retro aesthetic of the bike. However, it now gets a gear position indicator on the digital display, which helps the rider know what gear they are riding in. The top variants, Emerald and Dark, get the Tripper Pod for smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation as standard. While in the other variants, it is an optional accessory. The bike is also equipped with adjustable clutch and brake levers, which allow the rider to fully personalise the lever settings, for more comfortable ergonomics.

Mechanically the bike remains unchanged. The new Classic 350 continues to be powered by the 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder J-series engine that produces 20.7PS and 27Nm. The underpinnings of the bike have been carried over from the older generation: 41mm telescopic fork and 6-step preload-adjustable twin shocks. Braking is taken care of by a 300mm disc at the front and a 270mm disc at the rear. The roadster continues to ride on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear tyres available with either spoke or alloy wheels. It gets a 100-section front tyre and a 120-section rear tyre.
