The Triumph Tiger 1200 range has been launched in India, with prices starting from Rs 19,38,990 (ex-showroom). The ADV is available in four variants: GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer. The Tiger GT Pro and the GT Explorer are available in three colour options: Carnival Red, Snowdonia White, and Sapphire Black while the Rally Pro and Rally Explorer are available in Matt Sandstorm, Jet Black, and Matt Khaki colour options.
Compared to the previous version, Triumph says that the low-end torque output on the 2024 range’s 1,160cc, inline, 3-cylinder engine has been improved. The manufacturer also says that the engine is now smoother and more refined. The motor produces 150PS at 9,000rpm and 130Nm at 7,000rpm. Other changes include more dampened handlebars and risers on the GT Pro and Rally Pro, a flatter seat profile, and the position of the footpegs being raised and moved closer to the bike, which the manufacturer claims has improved the cornering ground clearance.
A low seat option is now available on the Triumph Tiger 1200 range, which reduces the seat height to 830mm on the GT Pro and 855mm on the Rally Pro. The 1200 GT Pro and 1200 GT Explorer’s suspension comprises a 49mm inverted fork and a monoshock (both from Showa with 200mm wheel travel) while the Rally Pro and Rally Explorer get 220mm wheel travel at both ends. Stopping the bikes are dual 320mm disc brakes at the front with radially mounted Brembo Stylema calipers and a single 282mm rear disc brake with a single-piston caliper from Brembo.

In the features front, the range gets a 7-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, six riding modes, cornering traction control, a keyless system, and a quickshifter as standard. Heated grips and seats along with the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System are available as standard only on the GT Explorer and Rally Explorer variants. We expect the variant-wise prices of the 2024 Triumph Tiger 1200 range to be announced pretty soon.
