KTM has introduced the 2025 version of its 790 DUKE, featuring several updates to improve performance, technology, and rider experience. The latest model continues the brand’s focus on agility and precision, with two distinct variants tailored for different markets.

Design

The bike’s appearance remains in line with its aggressive naked styling, with minor updates to the headlight cover, and it now offers two new color options: Black-Orange and All-Black. To further personalize the bike, KTM offers a range of PowerParts accessories.

Engine

For Europe, the KTM 790 Duke will also be available in an A2 license-compatible version, delivering 95PS at 8,000rpm. For other markets, the full-power version of the 790 Duke will produce 105PS at 9,500rpm, with both models offering 87Nm at 8,000 rpm. The bike also now meets the stricter EURO 5+ emissions standards.

Suspension

The 2025 model continues to feature lightweight handling, a sporty riding geometry, and high-quality WP APEX suspension at both the front and rear.

One of the key updates for 2025 is the new 5-inch TFT display, replacing the previous 4.5-inch unit. The larger display offers improved functionality, including access to KTM’s Demo Mode and a telemetry screen. The bike also gets an Anti-wheelie Mode with six settings. The updated switchgear is designed for more intuitive operation, with illuminated controls for low-light riding conditions.

Riding Modes

The 2025 790 Duke also includes a range of ride modes, including Rain, Street and Sport, with optional Track and Performance modes for more customizable traction control and throttle response.

Additionally, the 2025 KTM 790 Duke comes with an extended manufacturer’s warranty of up to four years.

ZigSays

The 890 Duke R, along with some other KTM big bikes, were recently launched in India. But with the 890 now on sale here, we think that the chances of KTM launching this 790 Duke in India are slim to none. Notably, The 790 was available on sale here, back in 2019.
