The next-gen 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift, which was recently unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show, is all set to land on Indian shores later this year. With its radical design appealing the masses, this sales chart topper will be equipped with the latest tech on offer.
We dig in to check out 5 features that can be carried over from the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, features that’ll make the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift an even spicier offering for the feature hungry Indian market.
Compared to the present model's 7-inch touchscreen, the 2024 Maruti Swift will boast a larger 9-inch infotainment system. Borrowed from the new Brezza, this new touchscreen system will provide sharper visuals and improved responsiveness, and support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Regarding safety measures, the current Maruti Suzuki Swift is, to put it mildly, a little lax. It only provides up to two airbags, even in its highest-spec model; however, the new Swift will fix that. Along with additional electronic safety features including electronic stability control and ABS with EBD, it is expected to be equipped with six airbags as standard equipment.

A feature which not only is in high demand, but also adds up to convenience. The next-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift is likely to get wireless phone charging from the Brezza, adding to its overall appeal for the tech-savvy Indian buyer. It’s also useful when you’re using the wireless smartphone connectivity feature, keeping your phone juiced up all the time.

Maruti has added a 360-degree camera to the Swift sold overseas, an useful kit if your commute involves passing through some tight lanes. The same is anticipated to be available on the India-spec model as well, most likely in its higher trims.

The Head-up Display, often known as HUD, is a piece of technology that lets drivers focus on the road ahead by projecting crucial information onto the windscreen or any other transparent panel. To put it briefly, the HUD improves driving experience by maintaining the driver's vision and ensuring they don’t look elsewhere.
Upon launch, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift will undoubtedly cost more over its predecessor as a result of all these additions. For your information, the current pricing range (ex-showroom) is Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 9.03 lakh. To know more details about the next-gen 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift, check out our unveiling story.
