The Indian festival season is in full flow and so are the captivating vibes and aura that come with it. There are plenty of things that bring happiness during this time but taking delivery of your car has to be up there with one of the best, even more so when the car in question is none other than a Lamborghini. Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor joined in on the celebrations, as she took delivery of not just any Lamborghini, but one of the last avatars of the carmaker’s Huracan sports car lineup – the Huracan Tecnica.
The specs
Shraddha chose the bright Rosso Mars red shade for her ride, contrasted by black elements on the bumper, lip and air dams. It rolls on gun metal grey five-spoke alloys with yellow coloured callipers in profile, which go well with the red hue of the car. While the cabin follows a dark black theme for the most part, the seats and even the steering wheel do get red inserts matching the body paint of the raging bull.

The numbers
The Huracan Tecnica acts as a bridge between the hardcore and unforgiving STO and the relatively softer Evo in the Huracan lineup. So that means you do get some serious dynamic poise without sacrificing the daily driver quotient of the vehicle. It packs a screaming 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 engine that produces 640PS and 565Nm. At max attack, 3.2 seconds is all it takes to clock a 0 to 100kmph time, while it is easily capable of doing a top speed of 325kmph.

The B-town actress could’ve alternatively gone for the Huracan Sterrato - the off-road ready derivative of the Huracan - deliveries for which have just started in the country. But it seems like she didn’t want to sacrifice on performance and that’s understandable.
Does that mean Shraddha will be seen taking the car out for track days or drive it daily to her shoot locations? We doubt that, considering how tedious it can be to drive in India, especially on Mumbai’s cramped streets. However, the Huracan Tecnica does add swank to Shraddha’s garage while looking like a proper menace. The Huracan Tecnica costs Rs 4.2 crore (ex-showroom) and takes on the likes of the Mclaren 720s, Ferrari 296 GTB and the Porsche 911 GT3 in India.
