Fresh Tata Curvv spy shots give us the clearest look inside its cabin yet
Dashboard and door pads is inspired by the Nexon, while the steering is similar to Harrier and Safari
Gets the same drive selector rotary knob and gear lever as the Nexon
Likely to be offered with both 10.25-inch and 12.3-inch infotainment units
Curvv EV to be launched first, followed by the ICE-powered variants.
The Tata Curvv’s testing is in full flow and so is the corresponding season of spy shots. In this episode, we bring you the clearest look inside the Tata Curvv, revealing and confirming a few details that were previously only rumoured. Let’s dive right into it:
Previous showcases at the Auto Expo and 2023 Bharat Mobility Show hinted at a rather familiar cabin design. That possibility has now been confirmed as we can decipher that the dashboard design is very similar to the Nexon including the styling for the air vents. Even the door pads are similar to the Nexon and so is the central tunnel.
The Curvv gets the same rotary knob as the Nexon for the various drive modes, with the exact same gear lever ahead of it. The chunky four-spoke steering, however, is different from the Nexon and is in fact similar to what we’ve seen on bigger Tata SUVs like the Harrier and Safari. We also suspect Tata will offer different interior colour schemes depending on the variant, just like the Nexon, Harrier and Safari.

As for the screen, we can’t say for sure whether it is a 10.25-inch screen or a 12.3-inch unit. It is possible that Tata wil offer both the screen sizes, depending on the variant. We expect the rest of the Curvv’s features list to be more or less similar to the Harrier with equipment like a digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and ADAS.

A launch for the Tata Curvv is expected sometime in the second half of 2024, with the electric avatar arriving before the ICE-equipped version. Prices for the ICE Curvv could start from around the Rs 11 mark, while the electric Curvv could start from around Rs 20 lakh. The former will rival the Citroen Basalt, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq, while the electric version will be an alternative to MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, as well as the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti Suzuki eVX.
