Lexus Recreational Off-highway vehicle (ROV) showcased at Auto Expo 2025
Looks like a premium ATV, with familiar Lexus modern design elements
Gets plenty of off-roading elements such as chunky off-road tyres
Powered by a 1-litre hydrogen engine that generates nearly zero tailpipe emissions
Luxury car manufacturer Lexus has showcased the Recreational Off-highway vehicle (ROV) at the Auto Expo 2025. The ROV Concept looks like a slightly premium and upgraded version of a regular ATV, capable of taking you almost anywhere and everywhere! Yes, it is unlike any other Lexus, but does get certain design bits and a bunch of off-roading fitments to make it a really cool-looking vehicle.
Here are all of its details divulged:
A pocket rocket of sorts, the ROV Concept measures 3,120 mm in length 1,725 mm in width and 1,800 mm in height. Its compact dimensions and funky design language are what make it one of the coolest cars at the Auto Expo 2025.
It boasts a signature Lexus front with a sleek headlight and sharp cuts! It gets an exclusive dark bronze colour and plenty of off-roading design elements. Some of these rugged elements include chunky off-road tyres and a protective cage. It also gets the “L” badging along with the “Lexus” lettering at the top of the windshield. Similar to an ATV, it gets an exposed suspension setup.
The rear end also gets sleek lighting elements and you also get the “Lexus” lettering which adds a nice touch to the rear.
The interior of the ROV Concept is based on the Tazuna Concept. The driver gets a simple old-school instrument cluster which displays all the necessary information. The passenger gets a bar to hold on to and the all-black theme of the cabin gives a nice sporty appeal. The good thing is that you get a leather steering wheel and leather seats that add a premium feel to the cabin.
Usually, we list down the features of a car. But in the ROV, it’s not about features (as there are hardly any features), it is about the sheer joy of driving the ROV on uncharted terrains.
The stylish offroader is powered by a 1-litre hydrogen engine that generates nearly zero tailpipe emissions. Lexus also claims that there is a negligible amount of engine oil burned during driving. Power figures of the ROV have not been disclosed yet.
Well, there are bleak chances of something like the Lexus ROV to actually make it to production in India, it would actually be a fun and cool buggy to own. With Lexus’ styling and brand image, it might actually attract buyers. At the expo, it has been showcased alongside the swanky LF-ZC Concept!
