Before the dawn is about to set on Lamborghini’s pure combustion engines, the Italian supercar giant has promised to give the Urus and Huracan two special editions apiece. And now, the Sant’Agata Bolognese carmaker has teased a picture of a V10 engine with the message asking us to “Save The Date” on April 12. Our probable guess is this is the first special edition of the Huracan.
Now, we don’t know what this special edition of the Huracan Lamborghini is brewing for us. But reports suggest that it could be a more easier-going version of the bonkers Huracan STO. So, while it might have that track-focussed handling of the STO, this new version could dial in a bit of friendliness while driving on civilian roads.
Lamborghini’s 5.2-litre V10 develops 610PS in its basic specification, going up to 640PS in its most hardcore state. Depending on the variant you pick, this motor can be had in either rear- or all-wheel drive. And most importantly, it’s the harmony and driving pleasure that makes this one of the most iconic engines of all time.

With stringent emission norms coming into play, the Italian carmaker has no other choice, but to go with the flow. The supercar maker's first electrified model, the Aventador’s successor, will start things off next year, followed by the hybridized versions of the Urus and Huracan.
