Recently, the Indian carmaker facelifted the Nexon, Harrier and Safari, all of which have the carmaker's new family design theme and looks stunning

Tata Motors is stepping up the game when it comes to the styling of its products. All of their recent launches – the facelifted Nexon, Harrier and Safari – look stunning with their recent updates. But the keen-eyed viewer would have also noticed that with this update, all three of them look similar, which will be the case with the carmaker’s future launches.

Speaking with ZigWheels, Ajay Jain, Tata Motors’ India Design Studio Head, said, “At Tata Motors, we are dedicated to achieving a delicate equilibrium between crafting unique, distinctive products and maintaining a consistent brand identity. Our goal is to design individualised products that align with customers; lifestyles and aspirations while remaining true to our brand values. We are delighted to observe that our SUVs exhibit a consistent family look, preserving their distinct characteristics. Our aspiration is to achieve a similar balance across all our products and body styles.”

The point of focus here is the last line - “a similar balance across all our products and body styles.” So it’s not just the SUVs, but the carmaker’s sedans and hatchbacks that will also bear the family look. The Tiago and Tigor are due for a generational update soon, while the Altroz is in need of a facelift.

As mentioned earlier, the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari have been facelifted, all of which take inspiration from the Curvv concept. A similar design language has also been seen with the Tata Sierra concept. Then there’s the upcoming Punch EV which also takes a leaf or two from the upcoming SUV coupe. And there’s the Curvv coupe-SUV itself coming in production form next year.

The Indian marque has a very exciting lineup for 2024. Expected models include the Punch EV, the petrol-powered Punch facelift, Curvv EV, Harrier EV, and the sportier Tata Altroz Racer.
