Volkswagen has introduced the Deep Pearl Black shade on the 1-litre Topline variant of Taigun and Virtus.
Prices start from Rs 15.21 lakh for the Virtus and Rs 16.02 lakh for the Taigun (ex-showroom)
Available with the recently updated Topline trim with new features.
Previously, the black shade was offered only on the 1.5-litre GT Line.
New Topline trim starts at Rs 15.22 lakh and Rs 16.03 lakh for Virtus and Taigun, respectively.
Volkswagen is now offering the Deep Black Pearl paint option on the 1-litre TSI Topline variants of the Taigun SUV and Virtus sedan. Previously, this colour option was limited to the top-end 1.5-litre GT Line variants. Hence, customers looking for the black option will no longer have to break the bank.

The black colour doesn’t carry any premium over the other colour options.
VW offers the new Deep Black Pearl option with the recent updates on both the Taigun and Virtus. So you can get the variants that come with electric front seats and footwell illumination on the Topline trims.
Mechanically, the 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine remains unchanged and develops 115PS. It is paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. They also get the 150PS 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine, teamed with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT, limited to the GT Line trims.
The Volkswagen Virtus goes up against the likes of the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Honda City. Meanwhile, the Taigun competes with the Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
