Bajaj Fighter Trademark Filed: Could Be The Name For Upcoming Bajaj CNG Bike?

Bajaj has been going all guns blazing since the beginning of 2024 and is all set to launch a new CNG bike on June 18, 2024. Ahead of that, Bajaj has filed a new trademark for the name ‘Bajaj Fighter.’ Which bike could this name belong to? Well, we have some ideas.

A name for Bajaj’s 2nd CNG bike?

In a recent interview, Rajiv Bajaj (CEO of Bajaj Auto) mentioned that the Pune-based bikemaker is working on multiple CNG bikes. Based on that information, we believe the Fighter could be the name for the second CNG bike from Bajaj.

An alternative name to the Bajaj Bruzer 125?

Last month, trademark filing for the name ‘Bruzer’ surfaced online,  and it was believed that this could be the name of the upcoming CNG bike. With the name Fighter now in the picture, we think that the likelihood of Bajaj naming its first CNG bike, ‘Bajaj Fighter’ is high. You must be wondering why, right? Well, the name Bruzer is sort of an oddball, and might not sit so well with the Indian audience, as compared to Fighter, which may find it easier to connect and vibe with the Indian audience. 

So what we think is that with trademarks for both names filed, Bajaj has the option to choose what to call its first CNG bike.

We know this makes things a bit more suspenseful, but the catch is we don’t have to wait too long to find out because, as mentioned earlier, the upcoming CNG bike is set to launch on June 18. If you want more details on the motorcycle, head to this story.

It is expected to be priced at around Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom). While it won’t have any direct rivals, as it is the first mass produced CNG bike, it will face competition from Hero Splendor Plus, TVS Radeon and Honda Shine 100.
