The Bajaj Pulsar 125’s family just got extended when the Pulsar N125 was launched recently. Here is a look at all three Bajaj bikes in that segment:
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 is the first 125cc bike in the whole Pulsar family and gets the OG design that made the ‘Pulsar’ one of the most iconic nameplates in the Indian two-wheeler industry. It looks quite muscular and its price tag ranges from Rs 81,843 to Rs 97,133 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It is powered by a 124.4cc, single-cylinder engine producing 11.8PS at 8,500rpm and 10.8Nm at 6,500rpm. Few months ago, the bike was updated with an LCD instrument console and Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts. It has been around for some time now and is not an outright sporty bike compared to other options in the 125cc segment.
We are moving in a chronological order in this list, it seems, as the Pulsar NS125 is the second 125cc bike in the family. It gets the same sharp and muscular styling as its bigger siblings, the NS160 and the NS200 and is powered by a 124.45cc, single-cylinder, air cooled engine producing 11.96PS and 11Nm, which is the same engine found in the KTM 125 Duke as well. The engine has punchy performance but is quite refined as well. Like the Pulsar 125, the NS125, at the start of the year, was updated as well with a new LED headlight with LED DRLs and indicators and a new LCD instrument console. If you are a fan of the NS nametag and design particularly, then Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is something to consider for you.
The newest entry entrant to the family, the Bajaj Pulsar N125 gets a pretty distinct design language that is unlike anything in the whole Pulsar lineup. The front-end gets a sharp looking LED headlight and the tank design with the extensions make it standout. The colour schemes on offer are quite snazzy and youthful and the bike is powered by an all-new 124.59cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 12PS at 8,500rpm and 11Nm at 6,000rpm. In terms of the features and the refined, sporty performance of the bike, the N125 is best suited to take on the likes of the TVS Raider 125 and the Hero Xtreme 125R in the highly competitive 125cc sporty commuter segment.
