(Update: The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z has been launched. Check out the details in our launch story.)
Bajaj Auto is launching the biggest capacity Pulsar yet, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400, on May 3, 2024. And now, the streetfighter has been teased for the first time on the manufacturer’s social media handle.
From the teaser, we can see a bit of the front fender and the front wheel. The rear wheel with the rear disc brake is also visible. The alloy wheel design looks very similar to that of the Bajaj Pulsar N250 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. Apart from that, the bike gets a tyre hugger with a single-sided mount. As the exhaust is not visible when the rear wheel is shown in the teaser, we think the upcoming Pulsar NS400 might get an underbelly exhaust, again something that’s similar to the Pulsar NS200.
The arrival of the bike was confirmed by Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, more than a month ago. It will most likely be powered by the Bajaj Dominar 400’s 373.3cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine and will be based on the NS200’s perimeter chassis. It is expected to get all-LED lighting and an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
The bike is expected to be priced around the Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) mark and will rival the likes of the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, TVS Apache RTR 310 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
