BMW X7 Signature Edition: Overview

As you can expect from a special edition, it gets tweaked design elements that enhance the overall look of the SUV. At the front, it features Crystal headlamps with Swarovski glass cut crystals that give it a premium effect. It sports aluminum finished roof rails and window sill surrounds that further elevate the look of the SUV and give it an added dose of contrast. And shifting focus to the rear-end, the 3D tail lights get a new signature and further get a smoked effect for that dope look.

The X7 Signature Edition is available in two exterior hues: Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey.

The interior features an individual instrument panel finished in leather and a curved display consisting of the 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital driver display. The Signature Edition features crystal door pins and Alcantara cushions that further elevate the opulence. Other top features include a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, multi-colour ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, multiple airbags, park assist, powered tailgate and select ADAS features.

The X7 Signature Edition is equipped with a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder petrol engine paired with 48V mild-hybrid tech. This engine produces 386 PS and 520 Nm and this power is sent to all four wheels using an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It sprints from 0-100 kmph in 5.8 seconds. You can’t have this special edition with a diesel engine.

The BMW X7 is priced from Rs 1.27 crore to Rs 1.33 crore (ex-showroom). The SUV’s special edition comes at a premium of Rs 3 lakh over the standard variant. The BMW X7 rivals the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Range Rover Sport and Audi Q8.
