Bengaluru-based EV startup Bounce is set to launch its first electric scooter, the Infinity, tomorrow. Until now, the ride rental service provider has relied on existing e-scooter companies like Hero Electric to source its scooters. However, that’s about to change with the Infinity.
So what makes the Bounce Infinity ‘special’? Well, we think it’d be its price point. You see, Bounce plans to sell the Infinity with and without batteries. For without battery plans, one can simply rent the battery packs at monthly/annual packages, exchange the battery pack at Bounce’s swap stations, and pay for the swap. This is believed to cut retail costs down to around Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom).

And considering the scooter packs an LCD instrument cluster, disc brakes front and rear, LED lights, and a removable battery, Rs 75,000 would be a tasty price point. Not to forget, state subsidies will bring the price even lower.
All in all, the Bounce Infinity sounds like a catch. Want to get a sneak peek? Lucky for you, we just spied it on our roads a few days back.
