The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is here, and it has now come with some much needed updates that we have been expecting for a while. The updated Pulsar is sold at a price of Rs 1,84,115 which is a premium of 10,000.
The first change that the 2025 update has brought is the new LED projector headlight section. Along with this the bike also gets a redesigned tail section. The earlier one was a bit too bulky and many riders didn’t like its design. Now the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets a redesigned tail section with an integrated taillight and turn-indicators. This new setup has also made the tail section a lot more sleeker than it was before.
The second chance is the addition of a new instrument console. The console is a negatively lit unit with a TFT inset, similar to the one used on the higher capacity Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z. The console offers smartphone connectivity and related features such as turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts among others. Along with this the bike also gets 3 ride modes: Rain, Road and Off-Road.
The bike now also gets a slip-and-assist clutch as standard. Which will improve the riding experience greatly.
Other than the slight change to its design and features, the bike remains the same. It is powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor which outputs 24.5PS and 18.7Nm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gear box.
The bike is built on a perimeter frame and features a suspension setup that consists of a telescopic fork and monoshock. The bike rolls on 17-inch alloys with tubeless tyres. It features a 300mm front and a 230mm rear petal disc braking setup.
The Pulsar RS200 goes up against other supersports in the 200cc segment including the Hero Karizma XMR 210 and the KTM RC200
The 2025 update has been a one which was long overdue. The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 was a good bike that offered decent performance when it first came out. But over the years, its rivals started getting more updates and features, leaving the RS200 behind.
Now with the 2025 update, the bike is a lot more competitive when compared to its rivals. The premium of Rs 10,000, is a bit high but reasonable given the kind of features the bike now has to offer. That said, we still wished Bajaj went a bit further with this update giving the bike inverted forks like they had done with the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. This would have made the Pulsar RS200 feel a lot more premium, while also improving the bike’s handling.
