Judging by the recent patent images, it seems like Austrian bikemaker Brixton Motorcycles is working on a new neo-retro adventure bike. This news comes right after Brixton officially announced its plans to bring four bikes to India, which is pretty exciting.
The bike in the patent images seems to get a parallel-twin cylinder engine and it’ll likely be the same 1222cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine found in the absolutely gorgeous scrambler, the Brixton Cromwell 1200X. It produces 83PS at 6550rpm and a solid 108Nm at just 3100rpm. The neo-retro ADV seems to get an inverted fork and twin gas-charged shock absorbers, while the brake setup consists of twin disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear. It gets spoke wheels and dual upswept exhausts. The bike gets a sculpted fuel tank and a split-seat setup while the side panel looks really similar to that of the now-discontinued Royal Enfield Himalayan 411.
The neo-retro ADV gets an oval-shaped headlight surrounded by a headlight cowl that’s integrated into the large windscreen and a mount on each side for jerry cans. It gets a single-piece handlebar with knuckle guards and the grab rail is integrated with the luggage carrier at the rear. Not much is known about the bike’s features but a digital screen is visible in the patent images.
There’s still a long way to go before this bike is launched. But we do hope that when it does, Brixton brings the bike to India sometime in the near future with the Brixton Cromwell 1200X, Brixton Cromwell 1200, Brixton Crossfire 500X and the Brixton Crossfire 500XC being recently announced for the Indian market.
