The new-gen Honda Amaze is the latest addition to the sub-4m sedan category in India. Compared to its predecessor, the 2024 Amaze not only showcases a fresh exterior and interior but also features a segment-first safety tech. 2024 Honda Amaze Exterior Design

The 2024 Amaze's overall design language aligns with Honda's other offerings sold on our shores. Upfront, it boasts a large blacked-out grille along with sleek LED DRLs, and a pronounced chrome strip, similar to what we have seen with the Elevate.

In the profile, it continues to feature its sporty silhouette with a coupe-like roofline but now gets a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels. You also get an updated color palette for the new Amaze, which includes shades like Obsidian Blue and Golden Brown.

At the rear, you might mistake the 2024 Amaze for the City due to the updated LED tail lights and refreshed bumper design. The former features distinct lighting elements to set it apart, while the latter gives it a more sturdy look than before.

Inside, the new Amaze features the same beige and black cabin theme, but with a more modernized layout. The AC vents are sleeker, and the dashboard looks cleaner with the new floating infotainment system. New features in the 2024 Amaze include a wireless phone charger, a larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch semi-digital driver's display. Other amenities include automatic climate control, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, connected car tech, keyless entry with push button start/stop, paddle shifter (CVT variants only), and a 6-speaker audio system.

On the safety front, it gets six airbags as standard along with segment-first ADAS features such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and high beam assist. It also includes ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

2024 Honda Amaze: Engine Specs

The 2024 Amaze continues to draw power from 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 90 PS and 110 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT automatic gearbox. Claimed fuel efficiency figure for the manual transmission is 18.65 kmpl, while that for the automatic gearbox is 19.46 kmpl.

2024 Honda Amaze: Price

Honda has priced the 2024 Amaze from Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom), going up to Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new Amaze is underway, while deliveries are scheduled to start from January of next year. It rivals the likes of the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
