Skoda Slavia and Kushaq get special editions based on the top-spec Style trim.
Slavia’s Anniversary Edition comes after it completes one year in market.
Kushaq and Slavia get chrome finish grille and door garnishes alongside special edition accessories.
Both models now get the option of a Lava Blue colour, previously offered on Kodiaq.
The 10-inch touchscreen makes a comeback in Slavia.
1.5-litre TSI and 1-litre TSI petrol engines, shared between the two models, are now RDE-compliant.
These special edition models are powered by the larger turbo-petrol engine.
Both Slavia and Kushaq special editions are up in price by Rs 28,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively.
Skoda has introduced special editions of its India 2.0 cars, namely the Slavia sedan and Kushaq compact SUV. The Slavia Anniversary Edition and Kushaq Lava Blue Edition bring along a new Lava Blue paint shade that was previously limited to Skoda’s European cars, the Kodiaq, Superb and Octavia.
The special editions also get important features such as the 10-inch touchscreen in the Slavia Anniversary Edition. In addition, the 1-litre TSI and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines shared between the sedan and SUV are now RDE-compliant and E20 ready. Their outputs (115PS and 150PS, respectively) are unchanged from before, but Skoda claims that the fuel economy has improved by five per cent for the Slavia and seven per cent for the Kushaq.
The Anniversary Edition celebrates one year of the Slavia’s existence in India. Apart from the blue paint option, the sedan gets the following additions:
“Anniversary Edition” scuff plate on door sills
