DelEVery, a brand of Future Motors Corporation (based out of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu), has launched the XL 200 e-moped in India at a price tag of Rs 1,14,900 ex-showroom. Pre-bookings for the e-moped
are available through the brand’s official website and a discount of Rs 5,000 is available for the first 100 bookings. As its name suggests, the e-moped is targeted towards the delivery sector in the country.
The XL 200 gets detachable 1.92kWh and 2.7kWh capacity lithium-ion battery pack options with a charging time of 3-4 hours. The motor delivers a peak power of 2.2kW and 49Nm of torque with a top speed of 45kmph and a claimed range of 120km. The XL 200 gets two riding modes: Eco and Power. It has a wheelbase of 1210mm, an accessible seat height of 750mm, a healthy ground clearance of 205mm and a load carrying capacity of up to 250kg. Features-wise, the XL 200 gets side-stand sensor, USB charging, keyless operation and even a tyre-pressure monitoring system.

The battery has a warranty of 3 years and the motor comes with a warranty of 2 years. The controller, converter and the charger come with a warranty of 1 year and the tyres are available with a warranty of 3 years.
It will be directly competing against the Okinawa Dual 100 and its petrol-powered rival will be the TVS XL100.
