Mahindra is offering a cash discount of Rs 20,000 regardless of the powertrain you pick. However, the exchange bonus varies, with the petrol model getting slightly better benefits. And if you’re a corporate, the carmaker will give you a discount of up to Rs 5,000. So overall, there’s benefits up to Rs 50,000 for the Mahindra Thar SUV.
With multiple price revisions and variant rejigs along its way, the Mahindra Thar ain’t an affordable SUV like before. Prices now range between Rs 13.59 lakh and Rs 16.29 lakh (ex-showroom), and the SUV continues to be offered in two trims: AX Optional and LX. It can also be had either with a fixed hard top or a convertible soft top.
