Ducati India has listed the Ducati Monster 30 Anniversario and Ducati Streetfighter V4 Supreme on their website. The website states that the launch date and price will be revealed soon. The Monster 30 Anniversario and the Streetfighter V4 Supreme are limited editions and will likely command a sizable premium over the standard editions. Here’s everything you need to know:
The Ducati Monster is an iconic naked offering from the Italian manufacturer and the 30 Anniversario commemorates the 30th anniversary of its launch. This limited edition is restricted to just 500 units and features a triple tone colour finish, with red, white and green, paying homage to the Italian flag.
When looking at the bike from the front, we can see the Italian tri-colour placed right above the headlight. The tank extensions have received a red finish and feature ‘Ducati’ written in white.
Moving to the center we can see a dual-tone finish on the tank with white finishing on the body. This white can also be seen on the pillion seat cover. The tail section gets a green finish with ‘Monster 30 Anniversario’ written in white.
Adding to the bike’s overall premiumness is a plaque that is placed right below the instrument console, bearing the bike’s production number. The plaque adds a touch of personalization, while also indicating its uniqueness in a subtle way.
The Monster 30 Anniversario is powered by a 937cc liquid-cooled L-twin (Ducati’s term for 90° V-twin) engine which outputs 112.54PS and 93Nm. It comes with a 4.3 inch TFT console and 3 riding modes: Sport, Road and Wet. It also gets electronic rider aids like cornering ABS, traction control, and wheelie control.
The Ducati Monster SP comes at an ex-showroom India price of Rs 15.95 lakhs, the Monster 30 Anniversario will likely come at a price that is much higher, given the fact that it is a special edition with a very limited number being produced. We expect it to be around Rs 2-3 lakh more
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 is the brand’s flagship naked offering. The V4 Supreme edition is a special edition and as the name indicates, comes with special Supreme liveries. The liveries are designed by Aldo Drudi, a renowned Italian designer.
At the front, the bike features a white and red dual tone finish on the headlight, with the red being present in the form of a single stripe that runs through the middle. The ducati logo is placed in the center. The headlight also features Aldo Drudi’s brand logo, which is a fingerprint.
The tank also comes with a dual-tone red and white finish, but in the middle there’s a Supreme logo. The logo occupies most of the tank and runs down to the radiator cowl. The bike’s tail section features a red finish with ‘Supreme’ written at the end.
Other than this, the brand has also added in a few smaller bits which adds to the overall appeal. First is the steering head with the bike’s serial number, indicating the uniqueness of each bike in this limited edition. Second, Ducati has also given the bike a unique ignition animation, making it stand apart from the other Streetfighter V4s. Lastly, the front Brembo brake calipers have a unique colour scheme.
The design is overall very well executed and brings the aesthetic, which we associate with Supreme as a brand, to the center of attention quite well.
The Streetfighter V4 is powered by a 1,103cc V4 engine which produces 208PS and 123Nm. It comes with a 5-inch TFT console and features riding aids like cornering ABS, traction control, slide control, and engine braking control, to name a few.
Coming to the pricing, Streetfighter V4 S costs Rs 28 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and we can expect the Streetfighter V4 Supreme to come at a significantly higher price, maybe Rs 4-5 lakh more.
