Everything You Need To Know About The New Maruti Dzire’s One-below-top Zxi Variant In 10 Images

The new Maruti Dzire has been launched with plenty of upgrades over its predecessor, including many new features, a new exterior look and a new engine as well. Maruti is offering the Dzire in the same four variants, namely Lxi, Vxi, Zxi and Zxi+, thereby giving buyers a wide range of packages to choose from. 

In this report, we take you a look at the design, interior, features, and powertrain of the new Dzire’s Zxi variant using 10 images.

Maruti Dzire Zxi: Price

The prices for the Dzire Zxi variant range from Rs 8.89 lakh to Rs 9.84 lakh (ex-showroom), based on the powertrain option you choose. 

Maruti Dzire Zxi: Design

The Dzire Zxi’s front profile features the new wide grille, and a chrome strip connecting the LED headlights. Barring the LED fog lamps, this variant comes with all LED lighting elements including LED DRLs and LED headlamps. However, the turn indicators use halogen elements only. 

In profile, you get 15-inch alloy wheels (painted), and body-coloured ORVMs and door handles. The Zxi variant comes with a chrome finish running across the window line. 

Coming to the rear, the Zxi trim sports Y-shaped LED tail lights that are connected by a chrome strip. It gets a shark fin antenna and an integrated lip spoiler which adds a sporty appeal to the entry-level sedan. Only design differences compared to the top-spec trim are the missing LED fog lamps and dual tone alloy wheels.

The Zxi variant comes with the following seven colour options: Gallant Red, Alluring Blue, Nutmeg Brown, Bluish Black, Arctic White, Magma Grey, and Splendid Silver.

Maruti Dzire Zxi: Interior And Features

The interior of the one-below-top Zxi variant comes with the dualtone black and beige theme which is standard across all variants. The silver and chrome touches inside the cabin are carried over from the Vxi variant, however, the Zxi trim brings in a wooden finish that adds a premium touch inside. The Zxi variant also introduces the automatic climate control panel instead of the manual controls for the AC. 

In the features department, the Zxi packs a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, steering-mounted audio controls, 6 speakers, automatic AC with rear AC vents, electrically adjustable ORVMs, a wireless phone charger, push button start-stop, automatic headlamps, and a bunch of connected car features.  

In terms of passenger safety, it gets 6 airbags (standard), ABS with EBD, ESC, reverse parking camera with sensors, hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear defogger and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). 

Features like a 360-degree camera, a sunroof, a larger 9-inch infotainment system and cruise are restricted to the top-spec Zxi+ variant.

The new Maruti Dzire’s prices range from Rs 6.79 lakh to Rs 10.14 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with entry-level sedans like the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura and the Tata Tigor.
