It will likely become Hyundai’s second Indian offering to get an N Line trim after the i20 N Line
  • ‘N’ alloy wheels, red accents, N Line badging, and dual-tip exhaust confirms the N Line trim.

  • Cabin could get unique ‘N’ branded upholstery and sporty pedals.

  • Likely to be limited to the 120PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine with 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox options.

  • Likely to be launched alongside the standard model.

The facelifted Hyundai Venue has been spotted testing in South Korea as well as India quite a few times now. Now, the updated sub-4 metre SUV has been spied in South Korea again, this time confirming that it will be getting the sporty N Line makeover.

While the latest images still had the Venue under deep camouflage, the wheels have the ‘N’ logo on them, with red accents and a dual-tip exhaust confirming the N Line trim. Considering how the i20 N Line panned out, we expect similar cosmetic changes, including tweaks to the bumpers, on the Venue to make it sporty.

The standard facelifted Venue is expected to get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment and digitised driver’s display from the i20 and add ventilated front seats and an 8-speaker Bose sound system on top. For the N Line trim, we should get different upholstery, N Line badging all over and sporty steel pedals as well as minor sportier mechanical tweaks.

In India, the standard facelifted Venue should retain its 83PS 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 120PS 1-litre turbo-petrol, and 100PS 1.5-litre diesel engine options. The diesel engine could also get the Kia Sonet’s 6-speed automatic gearbox option. As for the N Line, it will likely be limited to the  120PS 1-litre turbo-petrol, with the option of a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT like the i20 N Line.
