In addition to its revised front and rear fascias and interior, the premium hatchback also gets new features such as a head-up display. Each of the new Baleno’s headlights gets three LED elements for daytime running lamps (DRLs). The indicator light seems to be a regular bulb, but the headlights themselves are expected to be LED projector units as before. We got a glimpse of the projector lights in the teaser video.

At the rear, the facelifted Baleno gets new split tail lamps with running lights made up of three LED elements mimicking the DRLs. Despite the dim lighting in the teaser video, we do get a glimpse of the multi-reflector reversing lamps and indicators that will have regular halogen bulbs.

In addition, the Baleno also adds a new head-up display to its equipment list. The translucent display is not available in other premium hatchbacks. It seems to be configurable, with different settings that show you the engine RPM and fuel efficiency figures in addition to the time and vehicle speed.
