The Force Gurkha, now priced at Rs 14.1 lakh (ex-showroom), has seen a hike of Rs 51,000 from its launch price of Rs 13.59 lakh. The off-roader continues to come in a three-door avatar in one fully loaded trim. A 5-door version is expected to join the lineup later this year.
But that doesn’t mean the three-door model is any less impractical, as the large rear tailgate allows access to the rear seats only when there isn’t any luggage in the boot. Once inside, you’ll notice that the large captain seats are very comfy with decent headroom and legroom. To know more on our impressions of the Gurkha, read our in-depth first drive review.
In terms of features, the Gurkha gets the basics like a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual air conditioning, keyless entry, front power windows, and a multi-info display. Passenger safety is taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

The Gurkha gets a Mercedes-derived 91PS 2.6-litre diesel engine, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission only. A four-wheel drivetrain with a low-range gearbox comes to your aid during your off-road excursions.
The Gurkha locks horns with the Mahindra Thar and upcoming Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
