2023 is set to be Hero MotoCorp’s year, as the brand is all set to launch multiple two-wheelers this year starting from EVs, commuters to sporty bikes and big premium 400cc motorcycles. Niranjan Gupta, CEO of Hero MotoCorp, announced this news in a recent analysts’ call and here’s what we can expect.
Commuters
Starting with the breadwinner segment of the bikemaker, commuters, Hero is likely to launch the updated 2023 and XTec models for the Passion Pro and HF Deluxe, which might now also come with tubeless tyres and USB charger for added convenience. Apart from that, a more affordable Passion Plus was spied ahead of an official launch, ready to make its comeback.
Sporty Bikes
Hero will also be bringing the most iconic moniker, Karizma, back to life in a modern avatar. Interestingly, the bike has been spotted testing on roads multiple times and the launch is much sooner than expected. Adding to this portfolio is an updated USD fork-equipped Xtreme 200R, which is on its way too as it was spied testing. Oh, and Hero just launched the the updated and more harcore version of the XPulse 200 with new LED headlight, ABS modes and a new varaint.
More Premium Bikes
The first big bike from Hero, the XPulse 400, is set to debut this year. The ADV has us on the edge of our seats with anticipation. It has been spied frequently, and is expected to be launched sometime early next year. The Hero-Harley collaboration is also set to introduce the HD400 this year, and the first look of that bike has sent the auto industry in a frenzy.
Lastly, Hero is also expanding its Vida brand by launching more dealerships across the country. Head here for more details on the same.
