Harley-Davidson Pan America, Bronx Launch Delayed

Harley-Davidson’s website has been updated with new launch timelines for both the Pan America ADV and the Bronx streetfighter models. The arrival of the two motorcycles has been pushed from late-2020 to 2021, while the launch of the 1250cc Custom is on track for next year. Harley's electric bicycle range is also set to arrive in 2021.

One of the reasons for the delay could be the coronavirus pandemic, which has wreaked havoc on many businesses, including Harley-Davidson. Another reason might be the managerial reshuffle. The brand’s President and CEO, Mark Levatich, stepped down in March this year and was replaced by board chairman Jochen Zeitz in the interim period. A couple of days ago, he was appointed permanently. With these developments in the backdrop, Harley-Davidson also announced the ‘Rewire’ plan recently to restore the brand’s glory.

Now that the Pan America and Bronx’s international arrival has been deferred, we can expect their India launch to be pushed ahead as well. If we’re lucky, the two bikes could head to our shores by early-2022.

The Harley-Davidson Pan America will be the brand’s first full-blown adventure bike. It will help expand the brand’s appeal among a wider set of buyers.
